Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Technical Architect - Web within our Digital Hub in Barcelona.

The new CMS platform provides better integration capabilities with se.com and mySchneider and underlying business services. Our current marketing experience has huge traffic on products and FAQs, knowledge on existing implementation adds a good advantage to shape the architecture for edge cases.

Technical Architect for Web is expected to:

• Have a good understanding of web infrastructure
• Knowledge of meta frameworks and integration with CMS systems
• Knowledge of integrations with CDP + Google Analytics + Onetrust + A/B testing platforms
• Environment management to liase with Devops
• Underlying configuration knowledge to better optimize Performance of web sites and applications
• Provide architectural input and guidance to developers and management on investments on mySchneider/web

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance web architecture solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute technical roadmaps for web development projects.
• Provide expertise in meta frameworks such as SvelteKit to guide architectural decisions and optimize frontend development processes.
• Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and ensure best practices are adhered to throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Web Architect or similar role.
• Proficiency in meta frameworks such as SvelteKit, along with expertise in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms, API integrations, and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
